Also guide spoke too fast, better to have separate explanation by each language, it was more noise than information.”

“After receiving stern warnings to be on time, our driver (Juan) was 40 minutes late, citing heavy morning traffic. I was on the point of cancelling when the van finally arrived. We then started driving *into* the historic centre for a second pickup at 9:20am for a second pickup! I have been on other tours that dealt much better with the morning rush. This meant we set off from Mexico City around 10:20, and were caught in further queues on our way to Puebla. He also went to the wrong side of the cathedral square which caused a further delay. The tour guide was often having to give him navigation…”

I do think the tour should provide water for the trip home. We spent a lot of time in the hot sun and my guess is that most of us had drunk all the water we brought ourselves before the end of the long day. Our driver was excellent!”
