“Very disappointing experience. The tour guide was supposedly bilingual but struggled with English. He did not know relatively basic Mexican history. Even when he explained a few things in his native Spanish to my Spanish-speaking friend he for example did not know the names of several of the more famous Mexican president’s or anything about the timeline of when Mexico became independent. Not knowing the overall big topics of Mexican history is a big problem during a history-based tour. During the museum visit he simply read aloud from the signs next to exhibits. The guide also stepped away several times and we could hear him trying to arrange dates and…”
